I'd like to Have a Friend 10/31/02

I'd like to have a friend, who cares about me & never calls me names,

I'd like to have a friend, who I can share everything with,

I'd like to have a friend, who doesn't put me last on her friend list,

I'd like to have a friend, who doesn't believe in witchcraft & myths,

I'd like to have a friend, who believes in Him!!

ME 10/29/02

I like lakes, ponds, & rivers,

I like bushes, forests, & a lee,

I like hamsters, mice, & Mia,

I like nick-knacks, flowers, & anything free,

I dislike anger, yelling, & screaming,

I dislike fights, arguements, & unflavored tea,

I dislike name calling, showing off, & menaces,

I dislike swinging, golf balls, & the hot Florida key!

Imagination: My True Friend 10/24/02

My real friends are not like you & me,

My real friends you can not see,

My real friends like to play tricks,

My real friends can go through bricks,

My other friends don't care about me,

My other friends you can see,

My other friends when I need them are never there,

My other friends do not think about me or even care!!

I am free, peaceful, & understanding,
I am knowing, wise, & politic,

Rain Drops 10/15/02

They are like little diamonds falling from the heavens,

They replenish the earth to make it green,

They fall one by one then by the sevens,

They are powerful & strong, but still can tickle a mouse's whiskers.

A Poem 10/15/02

A poem is a gift,

It captures the soul,

It gives you a lift,

It fills every hole.

Fall is Here! 10/11/02

Fall is looking out your window, & seeing, leaves of all colors,

Fall is green turning to red, yellow, & orange!!

Fall is feeling the summer days slip into the past.

Fall smells of the frosty winds telling us fall is here.

Fall is the season I like the best.

I Need 10/09/02

I need my own space,

I need things that are my own,

I need a quiet place,

I need no fancy lace,

I need no things that half mine,

I need to slow down my pace,

I need to be an ace,

I need to be my very best,

I need to show the world my face.

All Alone 10/08/02

Being alone is like a monster,

It slimes along the floor,

In and out of people,

Leaving great big holes,

Being alone is like a shadow,

Darkness that creeps along a door,

Hiding in the bushes and in the grass,

Looking like little moles,

Being alone is like coldness,

Like in a cold food store,

In the frzen ice cream isle,

Like goosebumps in your soul,

Being alone is not fun,

Like counting to two hundred and four,

Then trying to find your friends,

On your patience it can take a quite a toll!

Scared 10/03/02

It scares me when I feel them, those slimy things,
It scares me when I see them those inky things,
It scares me when I hear them those whispering things,

They feel like the breeze,
They look like shadows,
They whisper watch out, WATCH OUT!

Happiness Is 10/02/02

Happiness is birds singing on a spring day,
Happiness is watching the clouds in May,
Happiness is throwing your coat down,
And laying on the ground,
Happiness is dancing by the creek,
Not wanting to be found,
Happiness is mother bird's warm nest,
Happiness is not worrying about tomorrow's test,
Happiness is the peaceful things!
